We are incredibly proud to share this powerful film created by the young people of Lanarkshire Pride’s Pride Connect youth group.

Through conversations with members of our adult group and the wider public, our young people have helped capture a range of voices, experiences and perspectives, creating a film that celebrates individuality, encourages understanding and highlights the importance of listening to one another.

This project has been about much more than producing a video. It has brought generations together, created opportunities for meaningful conversations and given our young people a platform to explore and share stories that matter.

We couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved, from the young people who helped bring the project to life to every individual who generously shared their thoughts and experiences.

A special thank you to Low Parks Museum for showcasing the film throughout the summer and helping these important voices reach a wider audience.
We would also like to extend our thanks to In Potential C.I.C. for their work on the production of the film and for supporting our young people in bringing their vision to life.

This is what Pride Connect is all about: creating opportunities, building connections and ensuring that LGBTQ+ voices are seen, heard and celebrated.
