A Huge Thank You! What a day!
Lanarkshire Pride returned to Hamilton on Saturday 1 August, bringing together thousands of people for a fantastic celebration of community, equality, visibility and Pride.
From a brilliant programme of entertainment to the hundreds of people who joined our Pride march through Hamilton, the day was a huge success.
We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along, marched with us, performed, volunteered, hosted a stall, supported the event or simply helped create such a welcoming atmosphere. Huge thanks to our sponsors including Specsavers Hamilton, Scullion Law and Hamilton Our Town.
Lanarkshire Pride is about much more than one day. Inequality and intolerance still exist, but so do community, solidarity and the determination to challenge them. Seeing so many people come together reminded us exactly why Pride continues to matter.
Pride Connect is back
Following a short summer break, our weekly Pride Connect groups are returning across Hamilton and Motherwell.
Pride Connect provides welcoming, supportive spaces for LGBTQ+ people to meet others, build friendships and be part of their local community. Join via the Pride Connect page in this website.

Motherwell Adult Pride Connect – ages 25+

Whether you’ve been part of Pride Connect before or are thinking about coming along for the first time, we’d love to welcome you.
We’re recruiting
As Pride Connect continues to develop, we’re also looking for a freelance team member to support the delivery of our youth groups.
This is an opportunity to work directly with LGBTQ+ young people and help us provide safe, inclusive and engaging spaces in Lanarkshire.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from people who are passionate about supporting young people, building inclusive communities and helping LGBTQ+ people feel connected and valued.
