🌈 Pride Connect: LGBTQ+ Community Spaces in Hamilton & Motherwell
At Lanarkshire Pride CIC, we believe everyone deserves a safe, welcoming space to connect, be themselves, and feel part of a supportive LGBTQ+ community — not just during Pride season, but all year round.
That’s why we run Pride Connect, our programme of regular, in-person community groups across Lanarkshire. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, build confidence, or simply enjoy being in a space where you don’t have to explain yourself, Pride Connect is here for you.
We currently offer Pride Connect groups in Hamilton and Motherwell, each designed to meet the needs of different age groups and communities.
Is there any restrictions?
Our groups are primarily aimed at LGBTQ+ people from the Lanarkshire area. If you are not from the area, please be aware that spaces are very limited. Everyone is welcome to attend a session if they turn up on the day.However, due to our funding and capacity, regular weekly attendance is only available to people living in South or North Lanarkshire.
🏳️🌈 Pride Connect – Hamilton
Our Hamilton Pride Connect sessions take place at our Lanarkshire Pride Hub in the Regent Centre and offer two welcoming groups:
🌟 Pride Connect 25+ (Adults)
- Day: Every Monday 10:30 – 12:30
- Who it’s for: LGBTQ+ adults aged 25 and over
- What to expect:
A relaxed, friendly space to socialise, chat, and connect with others. Sessions often include conversation, peer support, occasional activities, and opportunities to get involved in wider Pride events and volunteering if you wish — all at your own pace.

🌈 Pride Connect Youth
- Day: Every Saturday 12:30 – 15:30
- Who it’s for: LGBTQ+ young people
- What to expect:
A safe, supportive, and youth-led space where young people can meet others, express themselves, and build confidence. Sessions are supported by trained staff and focus on wellbeing, creativity, and community.

We’re delighted to be expanding Pride Connect into Motherwell, bringing regular LGBTQ+ community spaces to North Lanarkshire.
