We’re thrilled to announce that Lanarkshire Pride returns on Saturday 1 August 2026 (subject to licensing) right in the heart of Hamilton town centre.
As in previous years, Quarry Street will transform into a vibrant Pride celebration, bringing together our community, allies and organisations for a day full of visibility, connection and celebration.

• 11:30am – Event opens
• 1:00pm – Pride March forms
• 2:00pm – March departs through Hamilton
• 4:00pm – Event closes
🌈 A New Name – A Bigger Community
You may notice a change in name this year. Our event was previously known as Pride South Lanarkshire, but as our organisation has grown we are now a year-round Community Interest Company working across both South and North Lanarkshire. Through our Pride Connect outreach programme, we now run regular LGBTQ+ community groups and safe spaces in Hamilton and Motherwell, helping people connect, reduce isolation and build a stronger community all year round. https://lanarkshirepride.co.uk/pride-connect/
